of dry carpet cleaning and broad-spectrum janitorial experience!

In 1986, Vince Padula started United Cleaning Service, providing the greater Capital District with dry carpet cleaning via the HOST system, which was way ahead of its time as far as green alternative cleaning methods were concerned.  United Cleaning also provided commercial floor maintenance to many large chain stores such as JC Penney, Kmart, and Macys, as well as a variety of janitorial services to these clients and others.

Throughout the mid - 90’s to the present, Vince’s oldest son, Vince Jr., worked side-by-side his father, learning the trade and building valuable experience in the business.   The knowledge and expertise that he amassed during this time would become the strong foundation that Green Light Cleaning Systems is built upon.
