HOST compound is applied to the soiled carpet. At this time any heavy spots are identified and are pre - treated if necessary. | The mechanical agitation of the machine delivers the liquids in the HOST compound to the dirty fiber surface. The HOST machine brushes the HOST compound up, down, and around the dirty carpet fibers. The HOST compound contacts all surfaces of the dirty carpet fibers, dissolving and absorbing the oil bond and sticky residues that causes dirt to adhere to the fibers. As agitation continues, the dissolved dirt is wiped away from the fibers. The pile of the carpet is also lifted as a result of the process. | After agitation has completed, the HOST compound has loosened and absorbed the dirt under control. Now the HOST compound is removed by vacuuming, using a three - stage HEPA filtration vacuum to ensure maximum removal of allergens, as well as soil from the carpet. The resulting outcome is a carpet that is clean, pile - lifted, and dry. |
